| Benefits | Benefit details to be discussed Health Insurance Life Insurance Paid Holidays Vacation Sick Leave Retirement/Profit Sharing | Description | The Administrative Assistant for the Office of the General Counsel will provide office management, clerical support, and supervision of part-time work study student. The position will entail making travel plans and completing the required travel reimbursement forms; scheduling appointments for the General Counsel; maintaining the department budget and inventory of supplies; maintaining legal and research files; maintaining various tracking databases; coordination of mediators and mediation requests; maintenance of the department web site; and other duties such as answering phones, word processing, routing mail, etc., as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Associate's Degree in related field or equivalent
* Minimum of two years' experience directly related to this position
* Substantial experience with a variety of computer software
* Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
* Ability to work effectively with a variety of people
* Demonstrated accuracy in working with detailed information
Preferred Qualifications:
* Minimum of four years' office management and supervisory experience
* Experience working in a college or university setting
* Experience with web site management/maintenance
* Experience with working with PeopleSoft
* Experience with budget management
* Experience with legal terminology |
